Our Timeline
Since 2014, we’ve focused on helping builders succeed with their marketing, sales, and design‑selections programs.
Today, we offer:
2010
In 2010, Invent Dev was established with the aim of assisting architectural firms in developing interactive 3D models of their projects. Our visualization technology helped these firms garner support from communities, city officials, and clients.
2014
Invent Dev specialized in helping builders create engaging home buying experiences at their sales offices. This included interactive touchscreen displays and, for a deeper level of immersion, virtual reality that allowed customers to virtually walk through homes using VR goggles. Our goal was to draw buyers into the sales office by offering an experience that was both entertaining and visually informative.
2018
Our quest to help builders create a must-see sales office continued. Invent Dev was awarded the NAHB Global Innovation Award for helping builders sell unbuilt homes using advanced visualization technology.
2020
When COVID forced sales offices to close, we moved the customer experience online. Our team worked to make the in-person experience easy to access on mobile devices. Using our platform, sales agents sold homes remotely over Zoom, keeping clients engaged and sales on track without needing a physical office.
2023
Many of our clients required a more efficient method for handling design selections due to the high volume of design appointments they needed to complete within a few weeks. In response, we developed DesignGyde, a tool that simplifies the selection process by transitioning most decision-making from the décor office to an online platform, while also automating the creation of invoices and agreements.
2024
We rebranded our marketing and sales solutions under the new name HomeGyde, prioritizing conversion optimization. Both internal builder marketing teams and third-party marketing agencies have consistently reported during monthly status meetings that HomeGyde achieves marketing conversion rates over 200% higher than the industry norm, across project registrations and sales conversions of re-sales, inventory, and move-in-ready homes.
